Jim and I became friends in high school as we both enjoyed shooting our guns. We both shared an enjoyment of sports and spent time target shooting on weekends throughout high school. Jim left for the marines and served in the Viet Nam war. When he returned I recruited him for our fraternity at WSU. The movie, Animal House, was tame in comparison to some of our exploits. After college I began playing a crazy sport called rugby. I knew Jim would love this game and so recruited him for the Wichita Rugby Club. Most ruggers will tell you that the comraderie and friendships made playing this game last forever. That is the case for Jim and all those who played the sport with him. There are still great stories about Jim and the boys who started the club in Wichita and continued to support it through the years. Jim was a great guy and I will always remember the times we shared.
