Larry was the brightest guy I knew in high school. He even corrected my spelling error in my yearbook. Brilliant, but a troubled soul. Lost track of him in early 70's but I know he died too young.
Larry would have been a great contestant on Jeopardy. As Charlie stated he was one of the smartest guy I ever met. Larry could be scary at times but all in all a good guy.
The only fist fight I had in Jr Hi was with Larry in gym class. We both threw two or three punches then did the circle dance until Coach Gile told us to hit the shower. I will never forget, when I came out of the locker room Edwards said "Hey tiger" and we were friends again. That was his personality and why everybody loved the guy. I always though Larry's mom was the guiding light and rock of his family, when she died I don't think the family ever got over her death, his family all lost their way and just drifted. It was so sad. Still miss him today, I hope he found peace.
