UHLER - James Fredrick Vierthaler, 68, died March 28, 2017, at his home in Buhler. He was born May 10, 1948, the son of Fredrick S. and Anna R. Beam Vierthaler. He was a graduate of North High School, Wichita and received his Bachelor of Sociology from Wichita State University. He had worked for Conklin Cars and Consolidated Manufacturing for over 21 years.
He married Belinda M. Luce on March 25, 1977, in Wichita. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Matthew, Wichita; three daughters, Amy Smith (Justin), Hutchinson, Rebecca, Nickerson, and Katelynn, Buhler; four grandchildren, Kelly Moore (James), Tiffany, Joshua, and Douglas; and two great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Emma.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Donnie.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Buhler Mortuary, with the family to receive friends one hour prior to the service. Cremation is planned following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
