"Rotten Rodney" Kirkland, 74, passed away peacefully January 11, 2024. He is survived by his daughter, Cyndee (Kenny) Huneycutt. Grandchildren; Skyelar (Nick) Maloney, Tyler (Hannah) Huneycutt, Kolbey Huneycutt and Kamden Huneycutt. Great-grandchildren; Finnegan Maloney and Bellamy Huneycutt as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother and his loving wife Juanita Taylor-Kirkland.

"Rotten Rodney" enjoyed many careers, he was a meat packer at Cudahy Meats, bar and restaurant owner (Laid Back Club), and finally a school bus driver for First Student.  He touched so many hearts and souls in everything he did.  He loved his family, friends and Juanita's many fur babies over the years.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to either The Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219 or Alcoholics Anonymous (Wichita Central Office), 2812 E. English St., Wichita, KS  67211.
