Cohlmia, Michael Ann "Mickey" 68. Mother, teacher, florist, decorator and constant inspiration, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 15, 2017. Mickey was a lover of life, a pillar of strength, and created beauty wherever she went. Viewing will be 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday, September 18, 2017, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Trisagion & Funeral Service at 7:00 P.M. Monday, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Old Mission Cemetery. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Lorise Cohlmia. Survived by her children, Stephen (Sophie) Christian of London, England, Alexis (Cooper) Phillips, and Spencer (Jennifer) Christian, all of Wichita; beloved Sitti to Priya, Enzo and Benae Phillips of Wichita; cherished sister to Dr. George (Christina) Cohlmia of Tulsa, OK, and Dennis (Janet) Cohlmia of Wichita; and "Aunt Mickey" to many nieces and nephews. Memorials have been established with St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral, 7515 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS 67206. Downing & Lahey Mortuary East.

Mickey was an amazing woman. Her love of family, her design skills and ability to create were amazing and her friendships and faith were steadfast throughout her life. She will be missed by so many. RIP

I looked forward to seeing Mickey, and it hurts very much she is not here on this earth now.  I have not been in touch with North High due to being out of Wichita, for many years...but as if it was yesterday, Mickey's kind, loving eyes and sweet being is as present today as then
