Sarah and I met in third grade. She attended Park and I was at Irving but her mother was the Girl Scout leader for both. We actually didn't like each other at that point! I couldn't decide between GS and Bluebirds that Paula Kellogg's mom was in charge of. Our first day at Horace Mann, however, we became reacquainted in Mr. Sanderson's art class and were friends from then on. I will miss seeing her at the reunion this year as we always kept each other company at the previous reunions. Sarah married right after high school and had one daughter, Marlene. I can't remember the jobs she had throughout the years, but later, she started making jewelry and did some beautiful work!
