Mike was a person to whom actedlike no one was a stranger to him. Being nearly the shortest person and loner shy person I was, after one of our classes he came up to me and introduced himself and said if he could help me with homework anytime just ask. He was one of the few outside of those I had grown up with from the elementary and jr. high school people that became a much needed friend. Our friendship didn't blossom as some would nonetheless I never forgot his caring and genuine interest in people.
