Mike Creed
Mike was one of the first guys I met when I started school at John Marshall Jr High. We spent a lot of time together at Indian Hills pool. We didn't get in any trouble but probably should have. I reconnected with him a few years ago but have since drifted apart. I'm sure he will be missed by many. My condolences to his family.

Mike was a good friend. We attended Garrison, Marshall, and North together. As Creed mentioned, we spent many summer days together at Indian Hills pool. Mike was one of the best swimmers I ever met. I enjoyed listening to 45 records in the basement of his parents home on Minisa. Mike had some popular music including the first Beatles record I ever heard. He seemed to always be in a good (and often mischievous) mood.

Like Mike Creed and Terry Richmond, I too grew up with Mike and his brother, Pat! Mike and I were both on the North High swim team as a result of being on the Indian Hills Swim team! During the summer, Indian Hills Swim Club was were you would find both of the Molz boys! They were both outstand swimmers and they were always in the middle of the "action"!!. Growing up with Mike and Pat made life fun and exciting! I miss being around both of them.Craig Steward

Oh man...... there's been way too many "memory updates" on the North High site recently. My first thought when I clicked on the site was, "Dang it!! Mike Molz??" I went all through school with Mike from Garrison on up. I'm blessed with a great memory. I remember so many kids from Garrison, and my memories of Mike are awesome! What a great, positive guy to be around! I lived north of 13th not far from Mikes house with my grandparents. My grandma always spoke very highly of the Molz family. As we all sometimes do, we get busy raising families and living our busy lives, and I lost track of him. But, I remember the last time I saw him was at my Veterinarians office where he was........ yep...... selling dog food! We enjoyed a great visit there!
I want to extend my sincere condolences to his family. Gone too soon....RIP Mike.

I met Mike at Indian Hills swim club through Larry Thompson. We played ping pong there and had some very competitive matches. We also playes a lot of basketball and pool at his parents house. We were roommates.at KU for a year before hee transferred to WSU. Mike and I stayed close until we were about 35 and we went our separate ways. We reconnected about 3 years ago and had several breakfastes together. Mike was an avid Shocker fan and had season tickets for many years. He was a character and always willing to lend a helping hand. My deepest condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.
